The 10,000-square-foot corner, at Main Street, is at the west end of the commercial strip, where buildable sites are rare and expensive. The vacant old Pagliacci building, once a photography studio, hasn’t yet been demolished.
The project owners include two of the principals behind Paramount Hotels, Roger McCracken and Rodney Olson. Through an LLC, they paid about $5.4 million for the property in 2018.
The marketing website now calls the project Eight One Hundred; prices aren’t mentioned. Neither have the floor plans been offered yet, though there appear to be two large units per floor.
Compton Design Office and MG2 are the architects. JTM will be the general contractor.
Construction is slated to start in September, with completion around December 2021, according to the Bellevue Downtown Association.
The building will have about 35,000 square feet above grade, including some amount of retail/commercial space on the corner. Two levels of underground parking will have 30 stalls.
