Preconstruction

Self-Performed Work

We know that in today’s complex and complicated building environment, clients expect unique solutions to the many challenges that arise throughout a project. The self-perform capabilities with our general contracting team are one of JTM’s strongest tools when it comes to meeting and overcoming those challenges. Our diverse force of skilled craft professionals self-performs critical scopes of work throughout the construction process, including concrete, selective demolition, carpentry, surveying, specialty installations, and more. Our experienced crews deliver greater safety, efficiency, early and continuous cost certainty, schedule and budget control, and a higher quality of work.

VDC and BIM Technology

JTM’s Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) team are dedicated to a collaborative project delivery approach, leveraging BIM and data-capture technologies as LEAN tools to deliver safe, cost-effective, timely, and complete projects. Utilizing BIM as a data collection and communication tool, we aim to clarify the design intent to elevate the production of construction documentation. The desired result is to reduce RFI’s, work stoppages, and delays while improving procurement cycle times, field coordination, and safety. Through a transparent, collaborative approach, we can realize the design intent while lowering project delivery costs and increasing efficiency and profitability for our partners.

Special Projects Group

JTM’s Special Projects Group (JTM SPG) has been in business since 2005. It was formed to provide ongoing, exceptional services on projects with established, long-term, and repeat clients. Our projects encompass a wide variety of markets from seismic retrofits, shell and core upgrades, civic and cultural landmarks, restaurants and bars, campus work, life science facilities, medical facilities, and high-end office tenant improvements. We welcome the opportunity that these unique and challenging builds provide while managing these complex projects through open communication, creative problem solving, and unwavering attention to detail.
