New businesses open at Paramount Hotel

The Paramount Hotel, at 724 Pine St., is now home to two new businesses — espresso bar and breakfast spot Spruce Cafe and upscale Korean restaurant Chan Seattle.
Spruce opened last October, followed by Chan in November.

Two-tower mixed-use project tops out in Bellevue

Last Friday, Fortress Development’s large mixed-use project, Avenue Bellevue, officially topped out when crews from JTM Construction poured the roof slab at the development’s South Tower. This is the second of the project’s two towers to top out. The first one, the north tower, topped out in November.

The Jack tops out in Pioneer Square

Last week, project team members came together to celebrate the topping out of The Jack in Pioneer Square. The eight-story waterfront commercial development, located at 74 S. Jackson St., is scheduled for completion in quarter two of 2023.

Now using the new address of 702 Spring St., the 548 units have begun leasing in the east and west towers. The 32-story project received its temporary certificate of occupancy last month. Perkins Will designed Ovation, with JTM Construction as the general contractor.
