Additional green features include 32% less water use, 20% less power use, reduction of stormwater runoffs, low-flow plumbing fixtures, dual flush toilets, low VOC finish materials, and over 75% access to daylight. Architectural features include a curtainwall window system with vision glass and white fritted spandrel glass, blue glass fin accents, and blue glass canopies on the ground floor. This mixed-use project boasts five levels of below-grade parking. There are 231 storage units distributed among all parking levels. The condominium levels are separated from the public levels with secured fencing.

Hyatt at Olive 8 Features 346 Rooms on Floors 1-17

The first LEED-certified hotel in Seattle, Hyatt at Olive 8 features 346 rooms on floors 1-17 including 13 junior suites, a governor’s suite, and a presidential suite. Hotel amenities include 12,000 square feet of meeting and ballroom space, a 6,200 square feet sub-dividable ballroom, hotel guestroom kitchen, spa, and a 65-foot, non-chlorinated lap pool.

Olive 8 Condominiums, Situated Above Hyatt at Olive 8, Occupies Floors 18-39

Olive 8 has 229 sophisticated urban homes that make up the condominiums. Secure high-speed elevators provide access between below-grade residential parking areas and all condominium floors. Common condominium spaces include an expansive outdoor patio deck with four barbecue stations and a pet area, game room, media room, kitchen, and restroom facilities.

Urbane Restaurant

The restaurant includes a stone-clad bar, wine storage closet, and custom upholstered bench seating. Natural materials used to create a simple, elegant interior include wood flooring with stone accents, floor-to-ceiling wenge wood paneling, bead curtains and custom glass chandeliers. Located at the corner of 8th Avenue and Olive Way, the storefront window system allows significant natural light into the space.

Urbane Coffee and Wine Bar

Olive 8 Boasts the City’s Largest Green Roof at 8,355 Square Feet

Located on the fourth floor of the Hyatt at Olive 8, the prevegetated mat system was installed directly on the mechanical system chillers and is visible to hotel guests, condo owners, and nearby building occupants.
