Alicia Nielsen

Foundation Director

Alicia Nielsen has spent her career at the intersection of community, connection, and construction. She began working in the nonprofit world in 2015, starting with Gildas Club and Cancer Pathways, then moving on to Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center and the Bellevue Police Foundation before joining JTM Foundation as Director. In 2018, she also co-founded a boutique commercial hospitality building company alongside her husband, giving her a unique blend of non-profit leadership and commercial construction expertise.

What she loves most about her work is the people—bringing folks together and solving problems that make a real difference in the community.

Alicia holds a degree in International Studies from the University of Washington. Outside the office, you’ll likely find her on the ski slopes, behind a wakeboard, on the tennis court, or holding court at her favorite patio table at Carmine’s happy hour (send help, she’s not leaving).

EDUCATION: BA International Studies, University of Washington
