With established roots at one of the oldest land survey firms in our area, we understand the value of survey control. With Reality Capture Services (RCS), we aim to fill a void in the market and provide that same service to you.

Survey
The JTM Survey team is the link between the blueprints in your hands and work being done in the field. Control lines referenced in the prints are meticulously laid out on site– using the best survey equipment available while following fundamental land surveying techniques. We work with our trade partners and in-house construction teams to stake out anything that has been modeled or exists in the construction documents. In addition to the on-site layout, we push the envelope with our LiDAR and photogrammetry scanning tools to provide industry-leading documentation for our construction teams and clients. We take pride in being problem solvers who ensure successful projects.
VDC and BIM Technology
At JTM, our Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) team takes a proactive, technology-driven approach to project delivery. We integrate advanced BIM and reality capture tools into our workflows as part of a LEAN methodology focused on safety, efficiency, and value. By using BIM as a centralized process for data integration and communication, we improve design clarity and ensure construction documentation is accurate and coordinated.
This forward-thinking strategy reduces RFIs, limits rework and supports smoother procurement and scheduling. It also enhances field coordination and promotes a safer job site. Our commitment to open collaboration helps bring the design vision to life while controlling costs, optimizing efficiency, and maximizing returns for our project partners.

Augmented Reality
Construction has long been an industry that’s embraced innovation, but at JTM Construction, we believe it’s still the final frontier for technology implementation. That’s why we offer augmented reality (AR) as a solution for field operations. This powerful tool hosts an immersive experience where we visualize virtual construction documents in real-time allowing us to build better and collaborate more effectively with architects, trade partners, and clients. With AR, we provide a pipeline to essential project information that impacts the quality and efficiencies of on-site operations.
Our Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) team plays a pivotal role in this process by developing detailed digital models with real-time data accessible company-wide. The team downloads VDC documents to AR headsets, overlaying conceptual and construction designs onto real-world environments. With AR, we import 3D models, images, and videos to visualize construction, identify clashes, understand installations, and verify layouts. This approach enables us to share information effectively from the office to the field, collaborate with stakeholders, and make more informed decisions during installation.
