Sean Eakman

Project Manager

Sean joined JTM as a summer intern, came on full-time as a project engineer, and has grown into his role as Project Manager, a path that means he knows JTM‘s projects from the ground up. He still spends as much time in the field as he can, talking with craft workers who take immense pride in what they do; it’s how he learned the work, and now it’s how he runs it.

What drew Sean to JTM as an intern still holds true today: the team attitude and the way JTMers rally together, find solutions, and execute, finding ways to laugh and unwind through it all.

Sean is also a builder in his community. At North Seattle College, he designed and created “Hidden in Plain Sight,” an art installation featuring a 10-foot-tall, urban-camouflaged giraffe that has stood at the center of campus for years. He also helped create a farm stand for Tilth Farm on Whidbey Island and a Shade Shop for the Urban Green House at Nathan Hale High School.

Outside of his love for building, Sean works on art projects and furniture, and enjoys the sun by getting out on the water to go sculling.
