This Structure, Built in 1910, is Now a Four-Star Boutique Hotel
The Kimpton Palladian Hotel project involved the conversion of one of Seattle's historic turn-of-the-century buildings from low-income housing into a four-star, 97-room boutique hotel and restaurant, totaling 55,000-square-feet. The nine-story masonry structure received a complete seismic upgrade, new mechanical and electrical systems, restored terra-cotta, and new storefronts and glazing systems. Existing stone, masonry, and woodwork were preserved within the lobby and restaurant interiors to maintain a connection to the building's past.
