Catering to the Needs of Three Local Radio Stations
JTM Construction completed a specialized 22,163-square-foot renovation to support live broadcasts for three local radio stations, with a focus on achieving superior acoustical performance tailored to the demands of the broadcasting environment.
The project limited air infiltration to 0.06 cubic feet per minute per square foot, maintained at a static pressure differential of 6.24 pounds per square foot, minimizing noise disruption and supporting energy efficiency. Acoustical caulking was applied at all penetration points to prevent sound leakage and maintain studio privacy. Walls were equipped with two layers of sound-soak wallboard combined with in-wall insulation to maximize sound isolation for high-quality audio production.
