Kimpton Palladian
Hotel

This Structure, Built in 1910, is Now a Four-star Boutique Hotel

The Kimpton Palladian Hotel project involved the conversion of one of Seattle’s historic turn of the century buildings from low-income housing into a four-star, 97-room boutique hotel and restaurant. The nine-story masonry structure built in 1910 received a complete seismic upgrade, new mechanical and electrical systems, restored terra-cotta, and new storefronts and glazing systems. The project re-used existing stone, masonry, and woodwork within the interiors of the lobby and restaurant in order to maintain a connection to the building’s past.

Shaker + Spear

This is an upscale, 65-seat restaurant located inside the Palladian Hotel. Shaker & Spear remodel, a visually striking setting where warm woods meet bold brass accents meets backlit bottles.

Pennyroyal

Located inside the Kimpton Palladian Hotel, with the air of a social salon, Pennyroyal evokes European-style bar life. An interior of dark woods, exposed brick, forest green wall color, black velvet booths and ceiling, a handful of marble-topped tables, low-lighting, an assortment of random art pieces, and a long lovely L-shaped bar.
