Skagit Valley Cancer Care Center
A Harmonious Blend of Technology and Aesthetics Creating a Healing Environment
This 16,276-square-foot tenant improvement on the first floor of Skagit Valley Hospital delivers advanced cancer diagnostic and treatment services in Mount Vernon. The Cancer Care Center features two linear accelerators used for radiation treatment, along with a PET/CT scanner. The equipment required substantial setup and calibration time, resulting in a fast-tracked completion and early turnover of this portion of the project.
A healing garden surrounds the cancer care center, offering patients and their families a quiet retreat with fountains, waterfalls, and up to 2,000 plants.
